Welcome to the new BrainKing! Currently, there isn’t much to see yet. 😎 I’m still exploring different technologies and looking for ways to combine board games with my current areas of interest. I’m sure I’ll come up with something eventually, and in the meantime I’ll be fine-tuning everything here.

The good news is that this time nothing is running on a single physical server, so the whole system is much more reliable. Whatever I end up launching here, it should run without the notorious outages – or at least that’s the plan.

More good news:

• It’s much more secure.
• It has a responsive design that is compatible with mobile browsers. No more nested tables that looked terrible on mobile devices.
• Everything runs in the cloud, so the failure of a single physical server won’t compromise the overall functionality.
• All content is available to everyone free of charge.
• The system is easily extensible without the risk that a small change will break everything else.
• And I’m sure I’ll come up with even further refinements.

Time will tell where this journey leads.
